Anthony – thanks so much for posting this. Fascinating to hear the first-person account.

Hi 4JC,

If you are referring to the Exodus founders, I think they’ve discovered themselves that changing from gay to straight is not possible.

If you are referring to the Exodus clients, ex-gay programs can be very alluring for people who see them as a “solution” to the false belief that you can change from being gay to straight.

I mean living waters. Just shocked he took him in the xxx store after telling that God is healing gay people.

many within the ex-gay world lead double lives……I know it is going on even here in Sydney.

they are often in denial……which of course was my experience as well.

the truth that I was actually gay was too scary to accept.

I’m still scared for what could happen by stepping forward in a more open life.

Everything worth having in life involves some level of risk……buying a house……leaving one company to work for another…..moving to another city…..changing churches…….starting a relationship…..finishing one…

Fear of change is a human experience…..for many LGBT people fear of living authentically can be real.

I just moved to another country. Although it is easier to do in Europe and our country’s speak almost the same language it is still a challenging time where I saw Gods provision by being just on time.
